What is paragliding?

The most simple, the most free and the cheapest way of flying. Paragliding is the youngest branch of flying sports started in the 80’s.

In the beginning paragliders were similar to parachutes, today the differences can be easily seen for everyone.

Saleplane flying and Hanggliding can be considered as a brother sport. The main difference between parachutes and paragliders is in their usage. While parachutes are constructed to stop the freefall, paragliders are developed for being able to take-off from a hillside or flatland by a towing-rope, stay in the air for a long time and fly great distances. Current world record is 461 km without the help of an engine.

The two main types of paragliding: cross country and aerobatics

"Paragliding brings the experience of flying close to ordinary people. Only some know that when we speak about flying it doesn’t only mean a sport to us but a passion that completely saturates our lives"
